William P. Koenig DDS
Dr. Koenig graduated from the University of Michigan in 1992 and has been a member of the Michigan Dental Association, American Dental Association & Vacationland Dental Society. Having been raised in Corunna Michigan, he moved to the Gaylord area in 1992. He and his wife Nicole have four sons – Billy, Andrew, Jackson, & Zachary. Dr. Koenig enjoys fishing, hunting and golfing.
David R. Rindfusz DDS
Dr. Rindfusz graduated from the University of Michigan in 1997 and has been a member of the Michigan Dental Association, American Dental Association & Vacationland Dental Society. Having been raised in Brighton Michigan, he moved to the Gaylord area in 1997 and joined Northern Michigan Family Dentistry in 1997. He and his wife Jackie have four children – Ethan, Evan, Elijah, & Eva. Dr. Rindfusz enjoys tennis, sports, and is a big U of M fan.
Kristal graduated from Ferris State University in 1997 and is a member of the Registered Dental Hygiene Association and Michigan Dental Hygienist Association. She was raised in Manistique Michigan and moved to the Gaylord area in 1997 at which time she began working at Northern Michigan Family Dentistry. She has one daughter, Kayla. Kristal enjoys boating and biking.

Tina - RDA
Tina moved to Northern Michigan in 2008 and has proudly built both her career and family in Gaylord. She is a single mom to two wonderful children, Gavin and Makayla, who keep life busy and full of joy. Tina has worked as a Dental Assistant for over 18 years and truly enjoys helping patients feel comfortable and cared for during their visits. In 2018, she became a Certified Dental Assistant and continued expanding her education at Washtenaw Community College where she earned her Registered Dental Assistant credential in 2024. When Tina is not at the office, she loves spending time with her family, enjoying a beautiful Northern Michigan sunset and relaxing with a great movie.
Denyse - CDA
Denyse is a Lead Dental Assistant with Gaylord Family Dentistry as well as our other location, Cheboygan Family Dentistry. She has over 20 years of experience specializing in expanded functions and giving patients the best smile ever! She received her certification at the University of Florida.
Hygienists
Kristal - RDH
Kristal graduated from Ferris State University in 1997 and began her career with our office. She was raised in Manistique, Michigan and is a proud Yooper! Kristal enjoys spending time with family, especially her four grandchildren.
Raina - RDH
Raina joined our team in 2021.She is a Northern Michigan native that moved back after graduating college in 2020. Raina is a proud graduate of Ferris State University. During her collegiate career she earned a biology degree, dental hygiene degree and studied abroad in Italy. Raina is passionate about dental hygiene and her roll in disease prevention. She enjoys dental mission work and has participated in two dental missions to Guyana. Raina believes “If you can save at least one smile a day, you can make the world a happier place.” When Raina isn’t helping to save smiles, she enjoys tending to her garden, reading, and traveling.
Annalise - RDH
Annalise graduated from Ferris State University Dental Hygiene program in Spring of 2022. She joined Gaylord Family Dentistry upon graduation. She is born and raised in the Gaylord area where she currently resides with her husband Austin. In her free time, she loves to be outdoors spending time with family and her dog AJ.
Ashley - RDH
Ashley grew up in Gaylord, Michigan and graduated from Gaylord High School. She went on to pursue her Dental Hygiene Degree at Ferris State University. Upon graduation she returned to Gaylord to begin her career at Gaylord Family Dentistry. In her spare time, she likes to read, go boating and walk her dog, Matilda.
